Abstract
A 21 year old male came with complaints of defective distant vision in both eyes for past 1 month. He had no history of systemic illness.No family history was noted. Visual acuity in right eye – 6/9 with -0.50D cylinder@ 180* 6/6 , left eye – 6/12 with -0.75 Dcylinder@ 180* 6/6.His anterior segment was normal in both eyes. Fundus examination of both eyes revealed a clear media.Disc and vessels appeared normal.Multiple , small, symmetrical yellow white polymorphous lesions in post equator region sparing the fovea and extending to the far periphery was seen.Macula – foveal reflex present.Fields , colour vision were normal. OCT macula and electroretinogram(ERG) were normal in both eyes.Fundus fluorescence angiography(FFA) of both eyes showed normal filling of disc and vessels. multiple hyperfluorescent spots in early phase which fades away in late phase suggestive of RPE defects sparing macula and disc.
