Abstract
Method:In this prospective study conducted from April 2019 to March 2020 one group consisting 54 eyes with IGS received 2 doses of PSTA and the other group of 60 eyes with IGS received 3 doses of IVR at an interval of 1 month.Evaluation of BCVA,central macular thickness, and intraocular pressure before, at 3 months and at 6 months after injections was done.
Result:On follow up, eyes receiving IVR showed better visual recovery compared to those receiving PSTA. Significant elevation of IOP was noted at 3 months in the PSTA group.
Conclusion:IVR had better early and sustained outcome in respect to safety and efficacy in treating IGS compared to PSTA.
