Abstract
CASE 1- A 75 y/o M came with the LE lower lid mass since 1 year,which was gradual,progressive & painful with bleeding, pus discharge & reduced vision. It was a nodular mass in LE ,size 5*2*1 cm with central ulceration & rolled border.Madarosis & conjunctival congestion present.Grey white reflex present.Vision in LE CF 2 ft,PR accurate & 6/36 in RE.BE fundus-WNL.
CASE 2-A 65 y/o F came with the RE lower lid mass since 6 months,which was progressive & indurated of size 2*1*1cm.Vision in both eyes 6/12.Anterior segment normal.Fundus-WNL.
Result–Histopathological & clinical correlation suggests that the cases are basal cell carcinoma & squamous cell carcinoma respectively.
Conclusion- Both the masses were excised with lid reconstruction followed by radiotherapy & chemotherapy.No recurrence was seen till 6 months. Both the tumours are clinically different.But both can be managed through similar procedure.
