Abstract: We report the occurrence of a limbal dermoid in a 23 year old male that was present since birth and was a cause of ocular discomfort and cosmetic disfigurement to the patient for which he underwent a complete lamellar en bloc excision of the dermoid along with amniotic membrane transplantation. The excised limbal dermoid was sent for histopathological examination. Post-operative treatment regime consisted of antibiotic eye drops (moxifloxacin eye drops 6 times a day),along with topical lubricants (Carboxymethylcellulose eye drops 6 times a day) for two weeks. The patient was however lost to follow-up thereafter.
