Abstract
Endophthalmitis can be post-surgical after cataract extraction, trabeculectomy, corneal transplant, perforating injuries and intra-ocular foreign bodies.
Vitrectomy plays a key role in patients who do not respond or partially respond to vancomycin and caftazidime intavitreal injections. 23G OR 25G vitrectomy done in a series of patients of endophthalmitis will be demonstrated in this session.
