Abstract
The field of vitreoretina has seen a paradigm shift in the diagnosis and management of several diseases. With the improved technology, and instrumentation, there has been a significant change in our understanding of the disease course, treatment options and outcomes. Therefore, now with the availability of technological advancement, we can reflect on how patients with certain conditions can be managed better. The instruction course is designed in such a way that vitreoretina experts can discuss various cases which served as a learning lesson for them in managing various situations. The instructors will explain how using a particular approach, instead of an incorrect one, can help in or day-to-day management of simple as well as complicated cases. Each instructor will present at least 2 cases, followed by a panel discussion on the most appropriate approach in difficult and challenging situations. The instruction course is aimed at general ophthalmologists and retina specialists alike.
