Abstract

The clinic is a changed place from the impact of COVID19. However, we need to re-evaluate our systems and provide care. The first talk discusses protective strategies from COVID19 against other infections. We then discuss air handling & circulation in our OPDs & OTs to provide a fresh, safe environment & provide guidance for future expansions or restructuring. The next talk deliberates on the role of ultraviolet C light & proper applications of this modality for continual use to sanitize workplaces in a chemical-free cost-effective way. One of the measures adopted in the COVID19 times is better organization of the clinic’s work to reduce bottlenecks & deter episodic clustering in favor of distributed regular work. We then focus on smart triaging & teleophthalmology utilizing objective tools (online visual function & smartphone photography) to care for those that find it difficult to attend the clinic. Innovators having in-depth knowledge will present with active audience interaction.
