Abstract

Course aims to explore and formulate a definitive strategy to manage recalcitrant glaucomas associated with posterior segment diseases and surgeries. Various pathogenetic mechanisms, management options & prevention of recalcitrant glaucomas in these compromised eyes will be covered. The course will cover (1) Neovascular glaucomas (2) Post vitrectomy and post scleral buckle glaucomas (3) difficulties in the diagnosis & management of POAG in high myopia (4) management of glaucoma associated with intravitreal pharmacotherapy (5) evaluation & management of acute congestive glaucoma in massive suprachoroidal haemorrhage. Course will have didactic lectures, case presentations and panel discussions.
