Abstract
Results: Out of 162 patients(176 eyes), 64.77%(n =114 ) were male and 27.27 %(n=48 ) were female. Improvement or stabilization in BCVA was seen in 93.75%(n=165) of eyes.The mean follow-up was 19.39 months(range 1.5 to 109 months).
Early complications included vitreous hemorrhage 10.79%,choroidal detachment 1.1%,raised IOP 19.31%,cystoid macular oedema 0.55% and decompensated cornea 0.55%. Long-term complications included retinal detachment in 1.70% and IOL dislocation in 2.2%.
Secondary procedure required: Penetrating keratoplasty1.1%,injection Avastin 0.55%,Belt buckle with Silicon oil injection1.6%,Diode cyclophtocoagulation 0.55% and 0.55% needed ahmed glaucoma valve.
Conculsion:Sutured SFIOL have lesser complications and gives favourable visual outcome.
