Abstract

Visual deficits due to HCQ toxicity are irreversible even after stopping the drug. Hence prevention by proper screening is of utmost importance.

This poster endeavours to outline a structured evidence-based algorithm for HCQ retinopathy screening as described by an illustrative example. It is hoped that such an optimised screening protocol will help maximise the efficiency of early detection while minimising extensive and expensive screening methods.
