Abstract
Methods: total 87eyes with no ocular and systemic comorbidities were included and subjected to NCSM and UP for CCT measurement.
Results: 87eyes (50 males, 37 females) were assessed in this study. The mean age of participants was 65.39 ±7.44years, the mean CCT of all 87eyes with UP was 528.25 ±32.76microns and with NCSM was 502.08 ±32.12microns. the mean CCT was 26microns thicker in UP group compared to NCSM group and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.001). Conclusion: CCT measured by NCSM was lower than UP measurements. The correlation formula we obtained can be applied when comparing CCT between these 2 devices.
