Abstract
Case- A 38 year old lady presented with diminution of vision LE for 1 year & nyctalopia in LE since childhood. No systemic disorders, uveitis, trauma, consanguinity or family history of RP. Visual acuity in right eye was 6/6, N6 and left eye was HM. RE was normal with an unaffected ERG. LE- anterior chamber was quiet, pupil sluggish. Fundus showed waxy pallor of optic disc, attenuated arteries, pigment mottling at macula and bony spicules in the mid periphery. Perimetry and full field ERG was suggestive of RP in LE. Her teen aged children were unaffected.
This rare case is being presented due to unilaterality, no family history or systemic associations. We would like the experts opinion on this unique case.
