Aim: This is to report a case of ocular candida chorioretinitis due to Candida Tropicalis secondary to urosepsis candidaemia. Methods: 58 year old male, uncontrolled diabetic with hypertension, had fever with chills for 7 days. CT KUB showed acute pyelonephritis. Pleural tapping and blood culture were negative for Gene Expert. He underwent Left ureteral stent a week later. Post procedure, he had oliguria and developed urosepsis. Urine culture showed Candida Tropicalis. Results: Vision could not be recorded as general condition was poor and patient was intubated. Anterior segment was normal. On fundus dilatation both eyes, white fluffy lesions were seen scattered at the arcades suggestive of fungal chorioretinitis, with a fungal abscess at the posterior pole. Intravenous fluconazole was started and patient responded favorably. Conclusion: This case is presented for the rarity of the subspecies (Candida Tropicalis) in causing a non vitreous involving intraocular candidiasis.
