Abstract
A 14 year old male presented with a pedunculated lesion on his right lower eyelid that had grown over a period of 10 days. A vascularised, broad-based, 1cm x 1 cm approx. sized, bright red exposed tissue mass with necrotic debris was observed. Another 22 year old female presented with painless mass on her right upper eyelid over a period of 1 month. On examination it was also a pedunculated, about 3mm x 4mm pinkish mass. Another 30 year old male presented with a vascular, about 5 mm x 4mm sized mass on his right upper eyelid which had grown over 15 days. There was no history of any trauma, surgery or any other ocular abnormalities observed in any of the above cases. In all the cases, surgical excision of the mass was done and histopathological assessment was done to confirm the diagnosis. Follow up of the cases reveals minimal scarring of the conjunctiva and no evidence of recurrence.
