Abstract

59 years old female having bilateral macular hole (base diameter OD:1800 micron, OS: 1100 micron ) was treated in both eyes with Vitrectomy Sx + ILM peeling around macula + ILM stuffing in macular hole + C3F8 gas injection.

bilateral macular holes were successfully closed with good anatomical closure as well as visual improvement in both eyes. vision in OD improved form < 6/60 to 6/36 (P) & in OS improved from 6/60 to 6/12 (P).
