Abstract

The field of vitreoretinal surgery is fast evolving. Newer techniques and technology have been thrown into the arena to make the life of the vitreoretinal surgeon easier. In this instruction course we take you through some of the newer advances in instrumentation, surgical techniques and operating technology that has come to us in the last half decade. Each of the speakers have used the technology hands on for an extended period and will dwell into what the real-world scenario is in comparison to the official claims. We will discuss the pros and cons of each so that at the end of it we all can make an informed choice of what is right for our practice
