Abstract
On examination, the swelling on left upperlid and was 7×5 cm, firm, non tender, skin over the swelling was erythematous, showed dilated vessels . No lymph nodes were palpable. the eyelashes were normal. Lowerlid, anterior segment and fundus were normal.
CT scan of the orbit was done showing soft tissue mass of upper lid with no extension into eyeball or bony orbit. Incision biopsy was done which revealed a sebaceous gland carcinoma. lid mass excision was done under frozen section control and ensured complete tumor removal. Upperlid reconstruction was done in the same sitting with buccal mucosa replacing the conjunctiva and flap from forehead. 1 week after surgery patient was referred to oncologist and brachyradiotherapy was done.
