Abstract
A 38 years old lady presented with reduced vision in her LE since the last few years, which had progressed gradually. BCVA was 3/60 in the RE and FC’4 metres in the LE. Patient had previous history of development of myopic CNVM in the RE which subsequently regressed with multiple anti-VEGF injections. Anterior segment examination was unremarkable. Fundus examination showed presence of yellowish white crystalline deposits in both fundi suggestive of Bietti crystalline dystrophy, with macular scarring in the RE and myopic traction maculopathy in the LE. OCT of the LE revealed foveoschisis along with the presence of a hole in the inner lamella of fovea. Vitrectomy along with inner limiting membrane (ILM) peeling and intraocular gas tamponade was performed.
