Abstract

Glaucoma being the second leading cause of blindness worldwide and also in India, an early diagnosis and treatment is essential to prevent its accompanying irreversible vision loss by identifying the bottleneck in its management. The subject of failure in diagnosing and subsequent treatment in early stage is extremely important to every ophthalmologist. It is distressing to the treating physician as well as patient to fight against failure which is bound to happen in the course of the disease, which reduces the quality of life due to multiple factors. The objective of this course is to make the attendees identify the reasons of failure and a way to fight in a tailor made approach to make the QOL of the patient better in the course of disease.
