Abstract
Eye tumors in children can present at birth or later in childhood. Most often they go undetected until it grows to a significant size to cause obvious symptoms and signs. It may get misdiagnosed or even masquerade as benign and inflammatory conditions. There are fatal malignancies like retinoblastoma and rhabdomyosarcoma that can cost a life. Retinoblastoma is the most common intraocular malignancy in children. Although completely curable with the recent advances in the management, it can be lethal if detected late. It is indeed crucial to identify eye tumors in children for early diagnosis and management. Recent years have witnessed the paradigm shift in the management protocols, and are often multimodal and multidisciplinary. The experts will be sharing their experiences in a case based approach targeting general ophthalmologists, and specialists.
