Abstract

When it comes to complicated cataracts & complication in cataract, it is necessary to know how to tackle various situations and keep our surgical plans ready.

In this video based course we will be showing challenging cataract cases and their management with various techniques.

Cases which will be shown and discussed are 1) Repair of large iridodialysis in complicated cataract 2) Cases showcasing different available devices for pupil management in small pupils like iris hooks, Oasis expander, Malyugin ring,, B hex ring and discuss pros n cons of each. 3) Pearls for toric iol in posterior capsular rupture 4) A management of subluxated cataract, glaucoma and mydriasis post trauma. In this case a purse string pupilloplasty will be highlighted. 5) Management opinions for subluxated bags and dislocated IOLs – cases with different approaches will be shown 6) sfiol made easy with four flange scleral fixation technique
