Macular Surgery constitutes a significant & progressively increasing proportion of a Retina-Vitreous Surgeon’s work in present times, often with gratifying visual outcomes. Decision making, prognosticating & latest updates in equipment and instrumentation will be highlighted.
Situations like Large Refractory Macular Holes, Techniques of ILM Peeling & Autologous Tissue Transplant; Epimacular Membranes; Massive Sub-macular Haemorrhage Different Approaches for Different Situations; Disc Pits with Retinal Detachment and Maculopathy; Myopic Traction Maculopathy & Foveoschisis etc will be discussed. With the aid of surgical videos leading surgeons will demonstrate their experience, tips & techniques for the successful management of these challenging situations.
