Abstract

This instruction Course is a compilation of various complications related to Refractive Surgery. A Video/ Case based approach to learn from our previous mistakes so that they can be avoided in the future.

LASIK is one of the most gratifying surgeries but at the same time it is the most demanding as we are touching a normal eye free from disease. There is no chance of any mistake to occur, but at the same time nothing is fool proof. Every procedure is associated with some complication or the other. Here is an attempt to learn from our previous mistakes and try not to repeat them in future. The Course is based on the experience of senior and famous refractive surgeons doing Refractive Surgery for the past more than 10 Years. They will discuss what went wrong & how did they manage their problems. This platform will highlight many issues which only practical life can teach us. The vast experience and proficiency of these surgeons will help us to avoid repeating these mistakes.
