Dr. KARAN BHATIA (B15311)
Abstract
Simple diagnosis yet difficult to manage cases come along in our everyday practice. Something which seems trivial at first usually proves to be difficult to mould. Lack of standard management for adenoviral keratoconjunctivitis presents a confusing image. The thin line between textbook picture to presentation of dendrite & a pseudodendrite is confusing. With newer ideas springing up, there is an enigma as to what will be the most appropriate way to treat myopia. Corneal edema post cataract surgery still is a nightmare for any surgeon. Management of a bleb after performing trabeculectomy is not everybody’s cup of tea. Diabetic retinopathy has ever changing treatment protocols, with newer options. Masters shall decode perplexities of these simple but difficult diseases. We aim to provide simple & effective ways to better understand them. As a cherry topping, we shall also help guide as to how to deal with a difficult patient & satisfy his/her never ending curiosity & difficult demands.
