Abstract
METHOD: Retrospective analysis of IOP, BCVA, and treatment given were done.
RESULTS: Mean age & IOP during presentation of all 7 female Pts were 14.61yrs & 24.57mmHg respectively. Out of these pts, 3(42.9%) underwent Trab+Trab with MMC, 2(28.6%) had AGV implantation.3 (42.9%) underwent Trab with MMC, among which 1 pt had AGV implantation & 1pt underwent IOL SX. Among the 2 group of pts, mean IOP, (mean number of AGM required) during postop 6months, 1yr, 3yrs, 5yrs were 18(0), 16.5(0), 16(0), 25.5(1.5) in Trab+Trab & 17(1.5), 18(1.5), 18.5(2), 20(2.5) in AGV group respectively. There was significant difference (P<0.05) between posttreatment IOP and baseline. BCVA was better than 6/18 in 57.14% & less than 6/18 in 42.86% of pts. CONCLUSION: Glaucoma in SWS pts has aggressive course requiring early surgical intervention, AGM & periodic follow up.
