Abstract
Method: A prospective observational study on 96 eyes of 75 patients having neovascular glaucoma undergoing slitlamp, gonioscopy and funduscopy from December 2018-2019 analysed using SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis.
Results: At presentation the mean age was 57.35± 13.62. 80% were males & 20% females. 52(54.2%) presented in Rubeosis iridis stage with IOP 25.27±17.03mmHg, 18(18.8% ) in open angle stage with IOP 22.22±18.86mmHg & 26(27% ) in angle closure stage with IOP of 34.38±16.16mmHg.59(61.5%) had diabetic retinopathy &9(9.4%) had retinal vein occlusion. Out of 9 retinal vein occlusion patients, Carotid artery Doppler showed lesions in 5patients.
Conclusion: It can be concluded from above study that rubeosis iridis is most common stage and mean IOP of presentation is significantly higher in Angle closure stage.
