Abstract
Myopic foveoschisis occurs as a result of mechanical forces on retinal tissue due to increased axial length and irregular posterior contour resulting from posterior staphyloma thus creating atypical vitroretinal traction. Early diagnosis, regular followup and timely intervention is a must to halt the process of vision loss.
Here we want to document a case of foveoschisis in a patient with posterior staphyloma along with its clinical course.
