Abstract
Optic disc pits are considered as part of a spectrum of congenital cavitary anomalies of the optic disc. Optic disc pits are usually unilateral and sporadic in occurrence, and the development of maculopathy is unpredictable with no known triggers. Optic disc pit maculopathy is characterized by intraretinal and subretinal fluid at the macula, sometimes causes visual deterioration. Optic disc pit maculopathy is usually a slowly progressive disease, rarely it improves without any intervention. We report a rare case of spontaneous closure of Outer Retinal Hole associated with Optic Disc Maculopathy with good recovery of vision.
