AIM-Study of occurance of myopic shift during hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus

RESULT-Out of 50 patients 45 patients were shifted to myopic refractive error who were previously emetropic

CONCLUSION-Myopic shift occur during hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus. It can be prevented by proper hyperglycemic control
