Abstract
A 41year old female came to ophthalmology opd with complaint of diminished vision and micropsia in right eye since 1 month.On examination BCVA in RE is 6/24 LE 6/9. Near vision in RE N18 LE N6. On Amsler grid examination RE metamorphopsia is detected LE Normal .On slit lamp examination anterior segment in both eyes appears to be normal. On fundus examination with 90D RE elevated macular region with no foveal reflex with halo light reflex at the base of the elevation measuring 1.5 DD horizontally and 1 DD vertically is seen while LE appears normal. On OCT RE subretinal serous fluid in macular region with large PED with increased choroidal thickness LE small PEDs are seen. Patient is on medication for hypertension and hyperlipidemia. Other d/d like AMD are ruled out. Provisional diagnosis: CSCR with PCV and confirmed on FFA and ICG by visiting Vitreo-Retinal surgeon. Patient is advised for conservative management and follow up regularly to exclude PCV related complications.
