Abstract

COVID19 has changed the way of treatment in many eye disorders. Amblyopia treatment has been disrupted most. We designed uniocular Pleoptics based portable device made from inexpensive materials available around.10 such prototypes are made and distributed to amblyopia patients, They were also advised to design their own occluders. Par time occlusion along with pleoptic exercise at home was found to be effective in all cases and comparable with erstwhile institutional therapy. This mode of treatment has shown us the way to uninterrupted amblyopia therapy during COVID19 period.
