Methods: The study is carried out in 100 patients attending our out patient department of ophthalmology and satisfying the inclusion criteria i.e. patients of either sex of age group (6-18)yrs and diagnosed with allergic conjunctivitis with no other ocular diseases. The ophthalmic examinations included measurements of visual acuity, refraction and slit lamp examination. Result: It is found that among 100 patients, 70 patients have myopic astigmatism (cylindrical diopter) which is more than that in general population of this age group.
