Abstract
This paper presents a case of a 67 yr old male who underwent 25G PPV + ILM Peeling + SF6 Gas injection in RE for Full-Thickness Macular Hole. 15 days later the patient complained of pain, redness, and watering in the vitrectomised eye and was diagnosed with endophthalmitis in the right eye.
This paper highlights the rare occurrence of endophthalmitis after vitrectomy and also throws light on its probable etiology, pathogenesis, clinical features, and management.
