Abstract
Aim: To evaluate the accuracy of AI-empowered mobile application in the detection of eye refractive error
Materials and methods: This study included 500 participants of different age groups.
Refractive errors were measured using the AI-empowered mobile phone device and also using standard retinoscopy and Auto Refractometer. The obtained results were tabulated.
Two different investigators were used to note the findings and enter in the google worksheet independently on corresponding MR numbers.
Obtained results were tabulated and analyzed for accuracy
We were able to demonstrate, that the mobile phone-based App was comparable to standard methods of refraction and can be extremely helpful in screening, it is easily downloadable and avoids the need for expensive equipment like Auto refractometer.

FP1561 : Artificial intelligence (AI) empowered Mobile Phone-Based screening for refractive errors.
