Abstract
Objective : To report the case of a 35-year-old male who presented to the OPD with complaints of loss of vision in Right eye since 1 year .He gives history of surgery for meningioma 1 year back .on examination VA : OD – PL-ve , os 6/9 Anterior segment examination showed presence of Ptosis and RAPD .Evaluation of Extra ocular movements showed a Restriction of Adduction and Elevation in Right eye . Posterior segment Right eye shows Pale disc .patient was posted for Oculoplastic Cosmetic Procedure .The procedure was done in two stages. Stage one Lateral rectus , inferior rectus recession was done. Second stage superior rectus, medial rectus resection. The Post Operative period was uneventful. The patient improved with achievement of a better cosmetic appearance.
Conclusion: In cases where the vision cannot be restored , Still providing the patient with a better cosmetic correction will improve the quality of life the patient mainly by boosting his emotional quotient.
