Abstract
Purpose:Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a rare childhood cancer with an estimated 250-350 new cases per year. The head and neck region and in particular, the orbit, represent a major anatomic site for RMS. Purpose of this case report was to demonstrate the clinico-radiological correlation of orbital Rhabdomyosarcoma in a 12 year child. Methods: The child was presented with complain of protrusion of Left eyeball and diminution of vision since last 15 days.The child underwent complete ophthalmic examination including vision, slit lamp and fundus evaluation and radiological investigation. Results: : On examination Left eyeball proptosed with Globe displaced downward & medially along with Fullness in superior sulcus, Lagophthalmos and conjunctival chemosis. CT Orbit show’s Homogenous mass lesion in extraconal region of superolateral orbit. Conclusion: On the basis of clinical examination , pathology and radiodiagnostic tool we diagnosed a rare case of orbital Rhabdomyosarcoma.
