Abstract
Orbital and lacrimal surgeries target to achieve restoration of the premorbid anatomy which is the cornerstone of functional and aesthetic results, maximising outcomes and minimising complications. Identification of bony and vascular landmarks and, avoiding damage to the vital structures, through precise intraoperative navigation guidance along with in-situ verification enhances the safety and efficacy. The objective of the course is to enlighten the delegates the application of real time navigation guided surgical procedures with case discussions and video illustrations emphasising precise location, real time surgical monitoring with customised reconstruction enhancing precision and safety in complex orbital, apical and lacrimal procedures. In this course the speakers will discuss in details about the application of navigation technology in endoscopic lacrimal surgery, orbital trauma, orbital tumours and foreign bodies. At the end, there will be an interactive panel discussion.
