Abstract
OSSN is a broad term encompassing conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia and invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cornea and conjunctiva, with the propensity of intraocular, orbital and systemic spread. Thus, timely diagnosis and appropriate management is crucial to save vision, eye and life of a patient suffering from OSSN. The objective of this course will be to highlight the current novel imaging techniques (like anterior segment optical coherence tomography, ultrasound biomicroscopy) to diagnose OSSN early, distinguish it from close mimickers, and assess response to topical therapy, to demonstrate the pros and cons of current treatment options for OSSN (topical chemotherapy, surgical excision) with special emphasis on treatment protocol for recurrent tumors. A case based discussion will be conducted at the end highlighting key features to differentiate OSSN from other clinical masquerades like conjunctival keratoacanthoma, melanoma, papilloma.
