Abstract
This study was conducted on 500 patients inflicted with various types of diabetic retinopathy .Max no patients belong to age group 40 to 50 years 58% and most of them had maturity onset diabetes mellitus for 6-10years 44% and NPDR was present in 68% and CSME was present in 26% Fasting blood sugar and post parandial blood sugar of more than 110mg/dl and 140mg/dl was present in70% and77% and glycosylated haemoglobin was 8.5 to 10 in 43% of patient’s. LDL was more than165mg% triglycerides more than 160mg% and total cholesterol 200mg% was present in 74 ,80 and 80 patients This study will correlate these blood markers with various types of diabetic retinopathy and CSME
