Abstract

Traumatic subluxation and iridodialysis oft copresent.It is customary to fix the iridodialysis & subluxation separately on their own merits.Iridodialysis is managed by cobblers,sewing machine or hang-back method.Subluxation is managed by CTR +/- Capsular segments.My innovation combines capsular bag stabilisation and simultaneous hang-back repair of iridodialysis(upto 45°).It depicts the use of GoreTex suture.Literature search did not give notion of any other suitable alternative.

The New method of Fixation of the Capsular bag with the IOL to the sclera using a Hoffman pocket is reproducible .

The final outcome is satisfactory Fixation of the Capsular bag with the IOL. .
