Abstract
Many patients with Macular diseases present to the comprehensive ophthalmologist who has to suspect and diagnose them for proper referral and management. OCT Is now an integral part of evaluation of a patient with macular disorders. Ophthalmologists should know when to order OCT and to be able to read a Macular OCT. This course is designed to impart the basics of OCT and the method of reading an OCT. It will familiarise them with OCT features of common macular diseases. The faculty have immense experience in the field. This course will appeal equally to the young ophthalmologist just started practice, as well as to the veteran eye specialist who is trying to hone his diagnostic abilities. We will also discuss how OCT can help you in your cataract practice, by allowing you to diagnose many macular pathologies that can affect the visual outcome.
