Abstract
A 42 year old woman came to OPD with pain, watering and progressive diminision of vision of Right eye. There was no history of trauma. Local physicians treated her with topical antimicrobials but found no relief. On her first visit, BCVA right eye was HM positive. Corneal ulcer with stain(fluorescein) positive was found. Laboratory examination showed KOH mount and gram staining negative and no growth on culture media was seen. Patient also had history of multiple episodes of joint pain. Further investigations revealed raised Rheumatoid Factor and Anti CCP positive. She was then treated with oral prednisolone, methotrexate, analgesics, PPI, artificial tear substitute which ultimately halted the progression of the disease.
