Abstract
A prospective observational study was done in 44 CSC patients. Demographic, initial and final VA, OCTA, OCT & other typical findings collected and investigated. serous retinal detachment, outer photoreceptor layer (OPRL) preservation, continuity of inner segment(IS) &outer segment(OS) of photoreceptor layer, hyper-reflective content in sub retinal space & bruch membrane and abnormal choroidal blood flow and choroidal neovascularization membrane (CNVM) presence are OCT and OCTA findings investigated respectively. LogMAR acuity was used to investigate the statistical correlation with OCTA and OCT findings. Increased hyper-reflective dots, cystoid degeneration and choroidal ischemia & CNVM in OCT & OCTA findings respectively associated with VA 20/40 or less. However preserved OPRL and continuity of IS/OS junction were correlated with good final VA of 0.5 or more. These findings of non-invasive technique provide course of CSC, final visual outcome and direction for treatment decision.
