Abstract
Parasites are known to cause ocular manifestations with or without systemic associations. Most of them presents with posterior segment pathology. Rarely patients come with anterior chamber manifestations.We report a case of 35 year old gentleman who presented with redness in left eye. Examination revealed a live worm inside anterior chamber. Surgical removal of worm was done. Parasitologist reported the worm to be young female of Thelezia californienses measuring 3.58×0.22mm with transverse striations and vaginal opening at the oesophago-intestinal junction typical of the species.T.californienses have been reported mainly in United States and this is the first reported case in North India.
