Abstract
BACKGROUND: – We report an unusual presentation of A venous malformation/ orbital varies in a 35-year-old female, who noted redness and swelling on nasal side of the left eye (LE). On presentation, redness and congestion on medial/nasal side was noted in the Left Eye. Although there was transient symptomatic relief in redness with topical medications, there was no complaint of visual loss in both eyes, no restriction of ocular movements and systemic examination was normal with no neurological deficit. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an orbital arteriovenous malformation, but not on doing digital subtraction angiography, it showed slow flow venous malformation. Orbital Venous malformation, more often than never, may present with an atypical appearance, which confuses pre-treatment diagnosis and makes surgical extirpation more questionable.
CONCLUSION: This is unusual case of orbital venous malformation.
