Abstract
A 45 year old male with h/o ocular injury R/E with stone particle presented with sudden onset visual loss with features of acute secondary angle closure glaucoma.On examination R/E,vision was PL+ve,IOP-38mm hg,conjunctiva was congested,cornea showed sealed corneal entry wound.AC was shallow and on slit lamp,it looked like whitish coloured lens matter at pupillary margin.Pupil was mid-dilated and non reactive to light.Left eye examination was within normal limit.On 1st day patient is observed with conservative treatment but on 2nd day there was no improvement,so on minor ot table during the procedure, it was marble piece measuring 2mm by 2mm at pupillary margin and it was again confirmed with patient’s detail occupational history.Foreign body removed successfully.Next post op,no any reaction in AC and lens showed mild cataractus changes.Patient’s vision improved to 6/12,IOP-18mm hg.USG B scan showed no foreign body at other site.Patient is improved and currently under follow up.
